About Chef Juan Flores
Chef Juan Flores is a current student at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, building on a lifelong passion for cooking that began in his family’s food business. As a child, he spent over eight years learning and perfecting the traditional Puerto Rican dishes passed down to him by his grandmother—recipes he still loves to prepare for his family and friends today.
A proud 25-year U.S. Army Engineer Officer Veteran, Bronze Star recipient, and Engineer DeFlury Medal awardee, Chef Juan brings the same discipline, leadership, and dedication from his military career into his culinary journey. His mission is to honor his Puerto Rican roots by sharing authentic island flavors and timeless dishes with the world.
